Key Responsibilities:
- Operate metal fabrication equipment to punch, blank, or bend sheet metal into shapes.
- Perform quality checks using blueprints and ensure that fabricated parts meet specifications.
- Complete quality and safety paperwork, as well as inspect and oil equipment as needed.
- Turn on and off machine as needed, and check safety devices when required.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- The ability to read blueprints and identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation is essential.
- Machine operating experience is preferred, as is manufacturing experience.
- A good attendance record is also required.
