Nurse Educator Role at Marmet Center

The Nurse Educator role is crucial in ensuring safe and effective nursing care according to federal and facility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orient and educate nursing personnel on center practices and policies.
- Develop education programs based on staff needs and supervise new nursing employees during their orientation period.
- Perform annual competency testing and evaluation of nursing staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide oversight to the Employee Health Program.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
- Minimum three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
- Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator preferred.
