Position Overview:
As a Construction Operations Specialist, you will combine the organizational expertise of a Project Coordinator with the regulatory knowledge of a Permit & Compliance Specialist. This dynamic role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication while ensuring all necessary permits are obtained, renewed, and aligned with local, state, and federal regulations. Your contributions will be key to driving operational efficiency and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on track.
- Permit Management:
- Oversee the application, tracking, and renewal of building permits for active projects.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
- Compliance Oversight:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, sharing insights with the team and updating processes as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marmos Property and regulatory agencies.
- Documentation & Records Management:
- Maintain organized records of contracts, permits, schedules, change orders, and inspection documentation.
- Budget & Timeline Monitoring:
- Track project costs and deadlines, identifying potential overruns or delays and proposing solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates to internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders on project progress and compliance requirements.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of construction project management and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and document tracking software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
- Prior experience in project coordination, permitting, or compliance roles is highly desirable.
