Job Overview:
We are seeking for skilled Traffic Controllers to join our team. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for managing traffic flow and ensuring the safety of workers and pedestrians in construction zones.
Duties:
- Direct traffic around construction sites to ensure safety
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and equipment operators
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust controls as needed
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule work activities
Skills:
- Experience with heavy equipment operation including front loader trucks, bulldozers, dump trucks, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery
- Knowledge of construction site operations including paving, building, and utility locating
- Ability to operate traffic control devices effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and the public
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

RATE OF PAY:
$17.50/ hour plus $2.50/hour for family health insurance paid by the contractor.
Raises availble upon completion of certain condiditons.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Paid vacation.
