Description
General Description:
The Master Scheduler/Planner coordinates the schedules and inventories that ensure efficient and effective global operations of the organization. This position is responsible for developing, communicating, and maintaining production schedules and must be able to effectively communicate goals and plans with customers, vendors, and employees. This position requires a holistic understanding of the overall business, project goals and targets, while also tracking details to monitor project health, identify and mitigate risk, and resolve issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is proficient with forecasting, operations planning, financial/budget analysis, and general project management.
Reports to: Regional Director of Supply Chain
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, purchasing and manufacturing departments
- Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve customer needs
- Continually compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand and works with purchasing departments to ensure adequate supplies are available when needed
- Builds domestic and international plans for product supply with inventory model and sales forecasts; ensures data needed is provided in a timely manner to support analysis
- Accountable for timely production of NPD items; from raw material purchasing, to delivering to end customers by requested delivery dates.
- Collaborates with global operations team to ensure accurate inventory numbers to have accurate and effective production plan
- Has full understanding of production and distribution requirements to support all global operations
- Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff with those applicable departments as needed to meet delivery dates
- Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facilities; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays
- Manages key accounts and international shipments
- Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least five years of related experience required.
- Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.

- Extremely proficient with production planning systems.
- Strong technical skills/aptitude: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs, extensive ERP System knowledge and experience required (NetSuite preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary
$75,000 - $90,000 per year
