POSITION DETAILS
The Accounts Receivable Accountant will play a crucial role in the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring accurate billings, timely collections, and effective communication with partners. Revenue is generated based on license agreements that require attention to detail and organization skills. General contract knowledge is required. The ideal candidate is ready to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Heres what you will do here
- Review and gain an understanding of revenue contracts to ensure accurate timing and amounts to bill to customers.
- Manage the open accounts receivable by customers and assist team members and management with questions and historical data.
- Escalate issues related to late payments.
- Communicate with new partners for onboarding and to ensure timely collections.
- Prepare and reconcile various weekly and monthly workpapers related to accounts receivable, including provisions for doubtful accounts.
- Process incoming payments and ensure accurate applications.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with revenues and accounts receivable meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules and documentation for external auditors during annual audits.
- Support in ad hoc projects and analysis
