Marquee Brands is seeking a self-starter, proactive, and analytical Associate Brand Manager to join its New York team. The Associate Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in the management and growth of the Ben Sherman and Bruno Magli brands.

Here’s what you will do here
Merchandising:
- Assist with building and maintenance of the Merchandising Calendar and collaborate with licensees to in assortment development, product approvals, sample procurement and organization, and go to market assets such as linelists and linesheets.
- Liase with licensees to obtain deliverables
Retail Management:
- Execute & Analyze business reporting for ecomm and retail businesses
- Assist with development of Assortment Strategy
- Maintain Store Distribution Lists
- Maintain Resource & Contact Lists
- Develop excellent internal and external relationships
- Prepare for all meetings with detailed agendas to send to all teams ahead of meeting time
- Be the in-house Amazon and marketplace expert for the fashion team
Marketing:
- Collaborate and liase with internal teams such as marketing and PR teams on needs to support brand strategy and growth (ie. linesheets, samples, pricing, launch dates).
Financial:
- Procure and enter monthly, quarterly actuals and projections in relevant corporate files; analyze data and reach out to licensees to discuss results when necessary
Trademark management
- Provide trademark proof of usage and maintain reporting
Market Research
- Develop & maintain knowledge of the brands, including on-line and in-store research
- Execute market research online and instore to identify opportunities and positioning within the market
- Assist with execution of Market, Trend & Competitive Research to identify opportunities create presentations
- Research prospective retail opportunities
Brand Development
- Support build out and development of pitch/prospecting decks
- Assist on brand management projects as assigned
- Maintain brand documents
You’re going to need this to carry out this job
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working on Amazon and other marketplace storefronts is a plus
- Project management skills - ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives
- Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and creative environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Required System Skills
o Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Excel
o Advanced Proficient in Canva
o Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Suite Systems
o Proficient in Adobe Suite
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail merchandising or brand management

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
