The Marquee Media Team oversees media for the Marquee Brands: including Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, Sur La Table. The Media Team delivers Marquee Brands content, from broadcast to streaming to internet to podcasts and social.
Marquee Brands seeks to hire a Newsletter Producer to support the Media team in the creation and delivery of branded and co-branded content to multiple social media platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Create branded and co-branded newsletter content, ensuring that copy and visual elements align with overall objectives, reflect the brand's voice, and drives user engagement
- Manage and oversee calendar deliverables and deadlines, working with team members to ensure on-time planning and execution
- Ensure brand consistency in newsletters (and associated social assets) by working with team members
- Create content for owned and co-branded handles that connects with, adds value for, and builds an authentic and engaged community of consumers and fans
- Leverage major launches and buzz-worthy trending moments including but not limited to marketing initiatives and key milestones to create timely and relevant content that capitalizes on popular conversations and increases brand visibility
- Support the curation, clearance, delivery, and management of supporting assets created or curated for social content
- Support the curation, clearance, delivery, and management of media content for a variety of content distribution partners
- Coordinate platform graphics and artwork requests
- Upload assets (videos, caption files, art) to Amagi for distribution as needed
- Update and upload metadata to Amagi for distribution as needed
- Assist in weekly program scheduling in Amagi
- Gather, organize, and deliver brand assets for digitization and inclusion in content archive
- Support selection of materials for marketing and promotion
- Distribute channel and performance data to team
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A fast learner with editorial or social media experience with experience across a variety of audiences and platforms
- Proven ability to manage and successfully balance multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous, complex, and dynamic environment
- Creative individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Enthusiastic, hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EPGs; Amagi preferred
- Must have an exemplary attention to detail
- Experience with Gracenote a plus
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Pay rate: $30 hr - $36 hr
