Job Overview
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dental care and fostering positive patient experiences within a leading dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side clinical assistance to Dentists and Hygienists, including charting and patient education.
- Prepare and maintain the operatory, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment.
- Manage patient flow to optimize appointment scheduling and enhance overall patient satisfaction.
- Welcome patients warmly and contribute to a positive office atmosphere.
- Take and process X-Rays as required.
- Accurately enter treatment plans and maintain patient files as directed by the Dentist.
- Execute sterilization protocols for equipment and treatment areas.
- Monitor laboratory cases to ensure readiness for upcoming appointments.
- Dental Assistant Certification.
- X-Ray Certification, or capability to obtain certification promptly.
- Preferred certifications in Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide.
- Demonstrated experience with temporary fabrication, denture adjustments, and familiarity with Dentrix.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate a positive and supportive environment for both patients and team members.
- Certification in dental assisting is mandatory.
- Experience in a clinical setting as a Dental Assistant is essential.
