Accounts Payable Specialist – North County

Compensation: $28 - $30 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
- Perform accurate data entry for invoices, debit memos, check requests, and more
- Manage payment cycle procedures including ACH, check, and wire transfers
- Analyze open invoices and establish monthly accruals
- Provide support to both internal and external customers as needed
- Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, receiving, and purchase orders
- File paid invoices and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Receive, date stamp, and sort incoming mail and invoices
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Infor M3
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and internal controls is a plus
