Overview :
The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing loan and deposit relationships with customers. This role focuses on revenue growth through new business development, client retention, and expansion of existing relationships. Key responsibilities include recommending loan approvals within assigned limits, maintaining portfolio credit quality, sourcing prospects, and cross-selling bank products and services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, retain, and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities.
- Achieve revenue growth targets set by senior management.
- Assess client risk and manage credit quality within the loan portfolio.
- Implement strategic calling programs to maintain and deepen customer relationships.
- Develop and execute plans for sourcing and acquiring new clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and collaborate with product specialists as needed.
- Resolve client concerns, acting as a liaison with internal departments to ensure exceptional service.
- Maximize overall customer profitability by identifying and cross-selling appropriate bank products and services, including loans, deposits, and cash management solutions.
- Stay current with the bank’s lending policies, products, and services.
- Represent the bank in community and CRA activities to strengthen the institution’s presence.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and Anti-Money Laundering policies.
- Follow internal procedures for account opening, suspicious activity referrals, and ongoing monitoring of customer activity.
