We're seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practice Supervisor to join our team and help supervise associate clinicians working towards their hours. If you're passionate about mentoring and supporting emerging professionals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, this role is for you!
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide individual and/or group supervision to associate clinicians
- Offer guidance on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and interventions
- Ensure supervisees adhere to ethical standards and best practices
- Assist in the professional development of associate clinicians
- Complete necessary documentation for supervisees' hours towards licensure
- Collaborate with the practice leadership to maintain high standards of care
What We Need from You:
- Current and valid license as a mental health professional in CA (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)
- Minimum of two years post-licensure experience
- Completion of supervisor training as required by CA licensing board
- Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and current best practices in mental health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster professional growth
- Preferred:
- Previous experience in clinical supervision
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities
- Experience in private practice settings
Schedule:
This is a per diem position with flexible hours based on the needs of the practice and the supervisor's availability.
