Job Summary
Under the direction of the CIO , the Senior Systems Administrator will administer and support various local bank information systems. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, analyzing, maintaining, and supporting the network, operating systems, and core services to ensure smooth IT operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze, maintain, and support network infrastructure and related operating systems ; install upgrades and ensure ongoing system performance.
- Maintain and oversee bank computers, printers, scanners, servers, switches, and multi-platform networks and related peripherals.
- Provide support for LAN, WAN , and related applications, software, and utilities, working with technical support partners to ensure uptime and availability.
- Configure, install, and test various IT systems for functionality and security.
- Recommend and execute IT hardware and software purchases to optimize bank operations.
- Provide training and technical support to junior-level IT staff.
- Assist in the planning and development of new projects and systems , researching new technologies and recommending improvements.
- Provide technical user support to bank staff as assigned.
- Maintain IT inventory records , including details on all bank computers, mobile devices, and software licenses.
- Interact with all levels of management and staff , as well as external vendors and technical experts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
