Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Litigation Attorney (contract) with a proven track record in federal court to join our clients' prestigious law firm in Orange County, CA. This position offers a collaborative work environment, access to an extensive client network, and the opportunity to grow professionally in a thriving legal market.Key Responsibilities : Represent clients in all phases of business litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, trial, and appeals.Handle a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes, trade secret misappropriation, intellectual property matters, and fraud claims.Appear in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and administrative proceedings.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Conduct depositions, argue motions, and manage cases through trial.Collaborate with clients to provide strategic advice, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes effectively.Mentor and oversee junior attorneys and paralegals.Qualifications : Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar (good standing required).Minimum of 10 years of business litigation experience , with substantial experience in federal court.Proven track record of successful case management and resolution of complex commercial disputes.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including superior legal research and drafting abilities.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Client-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.Preferred Qualifications : Experience with class actions, fraud cases, securities litigation, or employment-related business disputes is highly desirable.First-chair trial experience in federal court.Experience with alternative dispute resolution processes such as arbitration or mediation.An existing book of business is a plus, but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
