Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PCB manufacturing, process engineering, and new product introduction. You will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring high product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a strong background in SMT to back-end processes, lean manufacturing, and adherence to ISO and medical device standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and manage the procurement process for new machinery and equipment, ensuring seamless coordination with suppliers.
- Design and optimize SMT to back-end production line layouts to maximize efficiency, capacity, and throughput.
- Lead project part localization from SMT to back-end processes.
- Create and manage process flow charts, FMEAs, control plans, MSAs, and process validation documents.
- Utilize SAP for material master data, BOM creation, and routing processes.
- Manage product cost calculations, budget preparation, and analysis (Capex & Opex).
- Conduct SPC & process capability studies and defect analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities to select appropriate machines and optimize the facility.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, ISO 13485 (Medical), IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.
- Develop and maintain the manufacturing process for new products, including process routing, layout, and production methods.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to shorten lead times, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Improve existing processes by introducing and implementing new technologies, techniques, and tools.
- Facilitate design transfer and process validation at external suppliers.
- Conduct EMI-EMC testing in compliance with IEC60601 standards.
- Expertly manage IQ, OQ, PQ, DFM, and other testing protocols.
- Generate and maintain PFMEA, control plans, SOPs, and PPAP documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions (NPI) and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as an ISO 9001 : 2008 Certified Internal Auditor, ensuring consistent application of industry standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDSAP, EUMDR, IEC60601, and 7 QC Tools.
