Job Description:
We are seeking a caring, compassionate LPN or RN to join our management team in the treatment (skin) department. Passionate about providing the best care to our residents, we maintain high quality ratings and above-average staffing levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Wound Care Nursing Staff as well as nurse’s aides in the absence of the Treatment Coordinator.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assessing resident needs, charting, care planning, etc.
· Actively participating in meetings and care conferences
· Updating physicians and family members on changes to residents’ medical conditions
· Provide occasional weekend coverage when emergently needed.
· Fill in as a Treatment nurse on the floor when staffing needs warrant.
· Asses later admissions, perform skin assessments and initiate care plan interventions.
· Promoting a positive work environment.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Current Michigan Registered Nursing License or Michigan License Practical Nurse
· Wounds Care Certified or ability to obtain certification
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting, standing and walking
· Must be able to lift up to a minimum 20 pounds at times.
· Work in a Long-Term Care setting
LPN starting rate is $29.76/hr
RN starting rate is $32.18/hr
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $29.76 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
