What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of Supportive Living Services position at Marrakech?
Beginning January 1, 2013 and thereafter Marrakech will limit the number of lateral/substitute position applications and moves. When a regular employee is in their six-month introductory period The Human Resources Department will not accept applications to transfer to a new position or to a substitute position. Staff can apply for a concurrent position.
The Coordinator oversees the quality control program across two CRS locations in Waterbury and Meriden, ensuring services meet agency and state standards. The position requires use of a personal, insured vehicle. This position covers 2 locations Waterbury and Meriden.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee two CRS sites.
- Assist with QSR inspections for other programs as needed.
- Train Leads and staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Provide hands-on training to the management team to uphold program quality.
- Assist with the hiring process and participate in director on-call rotation.
- Complete staff evaluations and ensure timely completion of evaluations by managers.
- Support team development, program goals, assessments, and the habilitation process.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and develop policies in compliance with current regulations.
- Ensure individuals are progressing towards their goals and provide necessary staff training.
- Ensure staff have adequate resources to perform their duties.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle in accordance with state law.
- Preferred: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field.
- Required: A high school diploma and four years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Valid Connecticut State Driver's License
- PMT Certification (upon hire)
- CPR Certification (upon hire)
- 40 Hours Flex
- $21.07/hr. Rate increases to $23.43/hr after 6 months.
