What will you do?
As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including:
Strategic HR Leadership & Compliance
• Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving workforce planning and talent management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (EEOC, OSHA, DOL, Workers' Compensation).
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with company goals.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build a strong employer brand.
• Develop partnerships with colleges, recruitment agencies, and industry professionals to create a pipeline of future talent.
• Oversee succession planning initiatives, identifying high-potential employees for leadership roles.
Team Member Engagement & Relations
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through open communication and an open-door policy.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
• Oversee performance management programs, including coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
• Plan and execute team-building activities, holiday celebrations, and recognition programs.
Training & Development
• Design and implement training programs to support career growth and skill development.
• Conduct hospitality-focused training to enhance guest service excellence.
• Deliver management training on leadership, labor law compliance, and workplace diversity.
• Monitor and enhance onboarding programs to create a seamless new-hire experience.
HR Metrics & Workforce Analytics
• Track key HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and retention trends.
• Conduct exit interviews and engagement surveys to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on industry trends and implement HR innovations to enhance efficiency.
About You
- Experience – Minimum of 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proven track record of implementing HR strategies that drive business success.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Certifications – SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency – Experience with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, benefits administration, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Key Competencies – Strong leadership, employee relations, and organizational development skills. Ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
