POSITION SUMMARY
As a Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer, you will be key in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless experience by promptly addressing maintenance issues. Your responsibilities include :
- Responding to and attending to guest repair requests.
- Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Identifying and operating all shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
- Maintaining inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicating daily activities and issues to colleagues using approved programs.
- Exhibiting proficiency in air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance categories.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on various equipment.
- Conducting general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and housekeeping duties.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
You will foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. You should be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and using ladders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with vocational or technical background.
Experience : A minimum of 2 years in hotel engineering / maintenance, with skills in both exterior and interior maintenance.
Supervisory Experience : No supervisory experience is required.
