As a Chef Tournant at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will also be responsible for washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, weighing and measuring ingredients, and preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety protocols and ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. You will also be required to follow all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager.
