Sales Coordinator, The Americas - Design Hotels

Job DescriptionIn a nutshellThis role supports the Americas Commercial Operations Team with a combination of administrative and creative responsibilities. Ultimately, the role is comprised of three functions : general office management, sales & marketing, and member services. Various day-to-day tasks include preparing presentations, reporting, database maintenance, coordinating travel & team meetings, accounting administration, tracking services, group leads, individual reservations and travel industry events. The ideal candidate is extremely organized with a strong ability to prioritize while passionate about travel, culture and design.Tasks & Responsibilities Assist Sales Directors as needed with sales and marketing support Source venues and travel logistics for sales initiatives and events Diligently handle client communication, invitations, and follow up Service travel industry clients with care - both individual and group requests Track outstanding travel industry commissions Sales related research and prospecting (travel agencies, tour operators, etc.) Support Account Director's projects, presentations, reporting and hotel communication Initiate new processes to increase efficiency Provide weekly and monthly reporting to team Provide general organizational and departmental administrative support Coordinate operational tasks and updates with our member hotels and internal stakeholders Daily database maintenanceExperience & Mindset Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management or related fields Spoken and written fluency in English (Additional languages of Spanish or French are beneficial) Previous experience in travel or hospitality industry strongly desired Analytical and administrative skills with attention for detail Professional customer service experience Proactive and quick-thinking in problem resolution Avid learner with exceptional interpersonal skills and creative mind Team player with a proactive and positive attitude Adaptable and able to work under pressure Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize work Proficiency in MS office applications and keynote (Experience with Salesforce and Tableau are beneficial)Perks & Benefits A great experience in the niche market of luxury boutique hotels Hybrid mobile working options Regular working schedule Working with a motivated and international team from over 39 countries at a desirable co-working space Great benefits at member hotels and brand partners from employee discounts to special offers, including Marriott Explore rates Career development opportunities in an international companyThe annual pay range for this position is $60.000 to $69.000.Please send your application without a picture.About Design Hotels™Design Hotels GmbH (www.designhotels.com) is a full-service hospitality consultancy, offering customized services to its member hotels.
