Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by serving food and beverage courses, answering questions about menu selections, and communicating with the kitchen regarding orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Answer questions on menu selections and communicate additional meal requirements to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
- Knowledge of wine and spirits a plus.
