**Job Title:** Laundry Associate

**Location:** The Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua, 1 Ritz-Carlton Drive, Kapalua, HI 96761

**Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our laundry team as a Laundry Associate.
• This is a full-time opportunity with a starting pay of $22.84 per hour and a 90-day pay rate of $25.38 per hour.

**Responsibilities:)

• Remove and separate soiled laundry from chutes or housekeeping carts.
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery in accordance with company standards.
• Apply correct treatment to stained items based on fabric and stain type.
• Maintain accurate records of items washed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry.
• Transport cart of washed articles to dryers and place in dryers according to load size.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
• Monitor levels in chemical containers to ensure chemicals are being dispensed and notify supervisor/manager of potential pump problem.

**Requirements:

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• No related work experience necessary.
• No supervisory experience required.
