Job Description:
Shift: Monday - Friday; 5am - 1:30pm
Job Summary
A plant site Sanitation technician is an hourly position that is responsible for daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning of equipment and facility. Detailed cleaning may require plant shutdown or dismantling of specific equipment. Candidate must be willing to document daily activities, complete special projects, continuously maintain cleaning equipment/tools, and attend detailed training sessions
What are we looking for?
Must be a Team Player for progressive sanitation programs
Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned
Assist with production/manufacturing tasks as needed
What will be your key responsibilities?
Follow a daily task list provided by the Sanitation Manager or Sanitation Lead (congruent with the Master Sanitation Schedule)
Follow Mars Petcare Standard Operating Procedures and Good Management.
Follow the Area Color Code System to prevent cross contamination (Red, Yellow, and Blue)
Follow Mars Petcare Safety Requirements
Daily Task List Duties may include but are not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, floor scrubbing, power washing and foaming manufacturing equipment and facility
