What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney-Defense position at Marshall Graham?
A growing law firm is seeking insurance defense attorneys with 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. It is especially interested in attorneys with first-party insurance litigation and / or construction defect litigation. Experience in 1 or more of the following practice areas would be ideal : commercial litigation, insurance defense, product liability, employment law, and business litigation.
The ideal attorney candidate will have the following :
- Proficient at handling a case from inception to resolution including preparation of pleadings, motion practice, taking depositions and trial work, handling mediations.
- Experience in reviewing claims files, communicating with claims professionals and clients.
- Self-starter; professional.
- Works well both independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Energetic, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
- Stellar research, written and verbal communication skills are key.
- Motivated, ambitious, and career-oriented.
