What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer/Sales position at Marshall Landscaping?
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with clients
- Identify new business opportunities and expand professional network
- Actively pursue sales and initiatives for site enhancements, presenting detailed plans and estimates to clients
- Utilize 2-D & 3-D Designing-Drafting, Detailing, and document management
- Offer expertise in landscaping and hardscaping services
- Manage contract preparation, administration, and closure, including accurate estimation of man-hours and materials
- Conduct thorough site reviews, inventory, and project analysis
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop innovative and visually appealing landscapes
- Proficient in determining grades, elevations, and producing permit drawings
- Coordinate with vendors for sourcing materials- Conduct on-site visits to oversee project progress and quality- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers regarding bids, job status, and concerns
- Ensure quality control to minimize return visits and rework, prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Lead team meetings effectively
Qualifications:-
Prior experience in the landscape/design industry
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dynascape, or similar design software
- Familiarity with hardscape elements- Demonstrates accountability for work performance
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Dependable and ethical
- Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting
