Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Nursing Director is a Registered Nurse (RN), who assists with providing 24-hour accountability for patient care, resource and fiscal management of the Birth Center. This position has independent authority to make decisions for the department which include, but are not limited to, staffing, disciplinary actions, resource and financial allocation. Upholds the Nursing Vision Standards by helping develop a cohesive, compassionate, professional nursing staff that is inspired to provide the best quality care to our patients. Acts as the Nursing Director in their absence.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Licensure / Certification :
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License required
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Advanced Cardiac life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
