POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse (RN) responsible for leading and managing the Inpatient Nursing Services departments (ICU, Med Surg, Telemetry). Success in this role involves ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement and patient safety. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with physicians, staff, and healthcare professionals to implement best practices and align nursing services with the organization’s strategic goals. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) Licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Current Advanced Cardiac Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required, or in process within 6 months of hire
- Professional Certification such as CCRN, PCCN, or CEN preferred
Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of five years of RN experience in an acute care setting required
- Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience required
