- Provide technical and maintenance support to computer workstations in all district buildings including but not limited to PowerSchool, Chromebooks, iPads, G Suite, Microsoft Office, Clever, Edmentum, GoGuardian Intune, Avigilon and Follett
- Monitor technology Service Desk (online and telephone)
- Provide technical support for computer labs (i.e., workspace functionality, reporting network status, imaging workstations and installation/removal of appropriate software for instruction)
- Provide additional technical support as assigned by the Director of Technology
- Maintain a building device database
- Diagnose and repair student devices
- Coordinate with supplier for parts and external repairs
- Summer maintenance and updates of all student devices
- Work with library technicians on upkeep of fleet
- Serve as primary contact for new student registrations including contact with parents
- Process all incoming new student paperwork, initial records requests, etc. entering data into student information database
- Verify residency of all new incoming students
- Communicate essential information to the appropriate buildings
- Manage all School of Choice applications
- Assist with the unenrollment activities of students, including applicable reports as requested by the Superintendent
- Respond to inquiries of staff, other educational institutions, the public, parents and/or students (e.g. registration, residency verification, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or direction

DATA QUALITY/PUPIL ACCOUNTING: - Serve as a positive public relations advocate for the district, including dissemination of school information
- Coordinate, train and assist district secretarial staff with building level reporting issues
- Monitor additions, deletions and revisions of PowerSchool and MSDS databases and train secretaries on new count requirements
- Prepare district level pupil accounting reports for all required count days as mandated by the state
- Maintain all University Identifier Codes (UIC) numbers district wide and resolve as necessary
- Act as a liaison between district staff and MISD auditor when questions and/or concerns arise
- Attend trainings and conferences as required to keep up to date on the changes in laws, regulations, and requirements from the State and Federal government; distribute information to staff as it pertains to their positions
- Assist in maintaining a district count procedures handbook
- Assist in reports to be submitted: Fall, spring, early childhood (ECSE), Graduation Dropout (GAD), Teacher Student Data Link (TSDL), Days and Hours and all Student Record Maintenance (SRM) as needed and others as directed
- Assist in establishing procedures for new pupil accounting procedures
- Work with building secretaries in verifying student data

POSITION SUMMARY: The Technology Help, Enrollment and Data Technician assists the technology needs of staff and students by answering questions and providing information that facilitates the correct operation of hardware and software in addition to maintaining 1 to 1 devices within the district. The employee is responsible for all new student registrations in the District as well as assisting in the collection and reporting of district data for pupil accounting.
