We are seeking an experienced Manager of Compensation and Benefits to join our People team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing WHSmith North America’s compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our organizational goals, with a collection of attractive, successful specialty retail stores located in airports and resorts across North America.

What You'll Do
- Develop and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus incentive plans, and health and wellness benefits.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Design and implement compensation strategies that attract, engage, and retain employees.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401K plan, and other perks.
- Manage administration of leave of absence benefits programs including FLMA, Paid Paternal Leave, and other leaves of absence offered.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits both at the US state and federal level and in Canada.
- Develop and execute awareness campaigns to increase the understanding and educated use by all employees of benefits offered.
- Conduct listening groups and surveys to understand employee sentiment on compensation and benefits programs, and leverage learnings in developing future programs.
- Analyze and manage reporting on compensation and benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage the compensation review process to ensure consistency and equity.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Collaborate with outside legal counsel to ensure all compensation and benefits policies and procedures are aligned with legal requirements.
