What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Director, Business Development position at Marshall Retail Group?
The Senior Director, Business Devlopment will assist the Divisional Vice President, Business Development in managing, developing and responding to RFP’s and direct negotiations, based on an agreed targeted pipeline as well as seek out additional development and directly negotiated opportunities within agreed territories and lines of business, and recommend acquisition targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with ACDBE business partners and clients.
- Partner with DVP, BD to develop and implement strategic plans to increase new business in both existing and new target markets.
- Assist in the creation, continual improvement and oversee the process of developing RFP and Direct Negotiation material in order to ensure requirements are being addressed and adhered to.
- Develop and conduct presentations of RFP and Direct Negotiation material in front of airport board members and other key market personnel.
- Partner with DVP, BD to review overall health of ACDBE partnerships and (virtually) attend monthly meetings with partners to discuss strategies in order to increase business.
- Responsible for developing a collaborative relationship with local, regional and Corporate WHSmith North America management.
- Source, recommend and develop Brand relationships/partnerships with existing and potential brands and vendors
- Recommend roles and responsibilities in line with Current JV Operating Agreement structures in conjunction with legal and operations.
- Responsible for implementing and ensuring completion of DVP, BD direction and special projects.
