Marshall’s Specialty Services is looking for a Front-Desk Receptionist to join our expanding team!

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will be answering phones, greeting and assisting walk-in customers in the lobby, and providing administrative support to all departments within the company. The ideal candidate will have top notch communication skills, computer skills, exceptional time and process management skills, be self-driven, adaptable and a problem solver. We will provide training on each new task you are introduced to, so you won't be placed in a "sink or swim" situation.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Additional hours may be requested seasonally during peak seasons.
Location: Springfield, OR
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour, depending on experience
This is a non-exempt full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, texts, emails, and messages, providing exceptional customer support.
- Greet and assist customers in our lobby
- Record customers interactions in internal system for cross-functional awareness
- Process online reviews, track them in the kudos spreadsheet and create kudos awards to post for employee recognition.
- Keep the front lobby and reception area presentable and organized.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, equipment registration, and reminder calls for inspections.
- Assist with office organization and team events.
- Assist with direct mail campaigns.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience managing a multi-line phone system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computer software, especially Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, punctual, and self-motivated
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
