Position Summary:Perform research activities and other tasks as necessary in a biomedical research laboratory environment.Job Description:• Perform laboratory research procedures under the direction of the Principal Investigator• Maintain cell culture and organoid culture in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols• Culture bacteria for treatment of cells and organoids as per Biosafety protocols• Work with experimental animal models in terms of animal maintenance, treatments and generation of experimental data• Perform molecular and cell biology techniques such as Western Blotting, Real Time-Quantitative PCR, gene cloning, immunofluorescence, luciferase assay, ELISA• Keep a laboratory notebook and perform thorough and accurate recordkeeping of all experimental data• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including ordering supplies, preparing buffers and reagents and general lab organization• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Principal Investigator• Comply with all safety, environmental and health regulations and procedures
