Purpose:
To assist in managing the design and execution of Martens social media marketing plans to attract new drivers to our team and promote sales initiatives to enhance overall business growth.
Responsibilities:
B2B Marketing:
1. Develop and execute marketing campaigns targeting businesses, including email marketing, social media, and content creation.
2. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
3. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
4. Manage the production of marketing materials such as brochures, reports, and presentations.
5. Coordinate industry events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Driver Engagement:
1. Maintain a broad knowledge of Marten Transport to convey information to potential candidates positively.
2. Act as and maintain social media voice and brand standards.
3. Assist in maintaining positive working relationships with the Marketing Agency.
4. Monitor online reviews to maintain positive online brand awareness.
5. Create targeted marketing initiatives to connect with our company drivers and enhance their experience.
6. Develop informative and engaging content for internal communications, newsletters, and driver portals.
7. Organize events and programs to recognize and reward driver contributions.
8. Gather feedback from drivers to continuously improve marketing strategies and initiatives.
General Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing the overall marketing strategy and brand messaging.
2. Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance and ROI.
3. Maintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
4. Support other marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
5. Travel as needed.

Abilities/Skills Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on classroom presentation. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and analytics.
Education/Training required:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in marketing
- Experience with project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
