What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rate Management Associate position at Marten Transport?
Marten is now hiring in our Marketing Department in Mondovi, WI
Purpose: To serve as an internal extension to Martens sales force. Directly supporting Martens Sales and Pricing team in the quoting, onboarding and maintaining customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Process customer proposals in a timely and accurate manor.
2. Create and manage customers annual contract renewals.
3. Ensure customer qualifications are met prior to providing quotes and onboarding new customers.
4. Assist in collecting and maintaining customer information.
5. Complete customer Requests for Information and other various customer requirements.
6. Track communications for future reference and preventative maintenance.
7. Other duties assigned.
Abilities and Skills Required:
Ability to utilize and navigate through multiple computer systems and programs simultaneously
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Have highly proficient skills in Microsoft Excel VLOOKUPs, Pivot-Tables and working in large data files
Have a high skill level of working quickly yet still paying attention to detail to eliminate errors
