Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate data collection, and supporting logistics and order fulfillment processes. This role requires strong skills in category management, supplier management, and warehouse operations. The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for operational needs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain accuracy in records.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage pricing effectively.
- Collect and analyze data related to inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Support the logistics team in coordinating shipments and receiving goods.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and updates.
- Operate forklifts safely to move products within the warehouse as needed.
- Assist in category management by analyzing product performance and making recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of category management principles and supplier management practices.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with logistics processes and order fulfillment strategies.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but can be obtained after hiring if necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.20 - $28.00 per hour
