Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain hydraulic systems and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or industrial mechanics within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong technical sales skills are a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and experience operating scissor lifts is required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
