Salary :
Direct and manage all field operations with overall responsibilities for safety, production, quality, and other production-related activities on all projects in their pre-determined area. The Field Operations Manager will work with project Superintendents to ensure that all aspects of the projects construction are effectively coordinated, meet specifications, project management efforts and remain on schedule. In addition to the noted responsibilities the Field Operations Managers must perform the following :
- Communicate with Superintendents and other FO Managers to see how project can help and / or affect other Martin projects
- Manage productivity labor / material based on budget and job costs. Bi-weekly meetings with Project Executive or Project Managers
- Manage manpower needs in area. Shift resources as needed. Work with other area managers to address manpower needs.
- Support for Project Managers & Superintendent team. Act as arbitrator for disputes
- Work with Director of Safety to ensure safety cultures directives are being implemented for each project.
- Conduct bi-weekly written safety observations on projects and bring to the operations meeting.
- Work with Safety Director and Superintendents to ensure employees have the proper safety training to complete the job
- Collect and analyze 2 week look ahead from Superintendents
- Work with Finishing / Division Manager on finishing schedule
- Develop relationship with General Contractor Superintendents and facilitate relationship between Martin Superintendents & GC Superintendents

- Coordinate equipment within area and with other areas this includes the crane as well.
- Material packages-moving materials
- Oversee job costs-ensure outcome
- Be the line of defense / problem solver for issues higher than superintendent level.
- Work with the Director of Field Operations to identify head count increases / decreases needs.
- Attend various meetings; preconstruction, kick off, pre-pour, operations meetings, etc.
- Ensure pre-pour checklists are being completed by project managers and superintendents
- Ensure conversations are being held at the end of each workday between superintendents and project managers about daily jobsite activity.
- Manage internal training program. Ensure two people are being trained for targeted job responsibilities at all times.
- Hold regular meetings with superintendents in your area to ensure consistency in operating procedures.
