Role Overview
Join our team as a Combustion Service Technician. This full-time field role involves servicing equipment throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining combustion systems.
Key Qualifications
- Preference to live in the VA or WV territory. Locations of Richmond, Roanoke or Charleston WV preferred.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and technical support
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant technical experience and training
- Knowledge of combustion systems, boilers, and/or ovens and furnaces
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, PID diagrams, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with major manufacturers of burner management systems, such as Fireye, Honeywell, Siemens, Autoflame, and Krom Schroder
- Understanding of field devices such as actuators, valves, dampers, transmitters, fuel trains, and temperature devices
- Familiarity and willingness to learn PLC controls, PID loop tuning, field calibrations, AutoCAD, and design
- Clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed
- Startup and tuning knowledge of parallel position, jackshaft, and fully metered control systems (desired)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Certifications in combustion technology (preferred)
