REPROGRAPHICS SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
(1) High school diploma or equivalent.
(2) Five (5) years experience printing, set up and production.
(3) Experience with the operation of binding, packaging and cutting equipment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the standard practices, methods, machines and materials of the trade. Knowledge of high speed
duplicating equipment and production processes. Knowledge of paper, ink, chemicals and other supplies used
in printing. Ability to adjust printing equipment for maximum quality. Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain records and submit reports.
REPORTS TO:
Director of Purchasing and Warehousing
JOB GOAL
To provide quality printing services for the school system.
SUPERVISES:
N/A
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning/Preparation
*(1) Produce printed materials on duplicating and printing equipment.
*(2) Operate duplicating equipment as required.
*(3) Prepare equipment for production.
*(4) Adjust equipment as needed.
*(5) Observe work closely during production for quality and quantity of duplications.
*(6) Inspect copies for quality.
*(7) Operate all bindery equipment as required.
*(8) Assist in proofreading, paste up and providing art when necessary.
*(9) Record product data on work orders and daily paperwork.
*(10) Adhere to schedule to produce printed materials by designated times.
*(11) Demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.

*(12) Accurately complete work orders for charge back to budgets.
*(13) Work independently or as a team member.
*(14) Assist in a perpetual quality control program for requests, filing of requests and pricing of jobs on
work orders.
*(15) Interact with district and school personnel.
*(16) Follow attendance, punctuality and other qualities of an appropriate work ethic.
*(17) Model and maintain high ethical standards.
*(18) Meet and deal effectively with the general public, staff members, students, parents, administrators and
other contact persons using tact and good judgment.
*(19) Ensure adherence to good safety standards.
*(20) Participate successfully in the training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to
assignment.

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently,
and/or up to 20 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
