Position Summary: Martin Marietta seeks an Off-Highway Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will operate haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry, perform maintenance duties, safely and efficiently operate pit and yard loaders, conduct daily pre-shift inspections, and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the haul truck.

Job Description:
Position Summary: Martin Marietta seeks an Off-Highway Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will operate haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry, perform maintenance duties, safely and efficiently operate pit and yard loaders, conduct daily pre-shift inspections, and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the haul truck.
A Typical Day:
- Operate a haul truck within company guidelines and safety standards
- Participate in safety inspections, plant safety program, and follow company and MSHA safety rules and regulations
- Aid in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintaining product pile as needed
- Perform pre-shift safety inspection on equipment and report needed repairs to the supervisor
- Perform preventative maintenance, service mobile equipment, and maintain good housekeeping of equipment
- Operate other equipment such as pit and yard loaders in a safe manner as needed
- Aid in training co-workers as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
You May Be a Good Fit If:
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience to perform responsibilities associated with this position
- Have experience in maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used in processing plants
- Have six months' experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience (preferred)
