THE POSITION:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting furniture and appliances that meet their needs and preferences, provide excellent customer service, and help drive sales in a friendly and welcoming environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and assist customers with product selection in furniture and appliance departments.
• Provide detailed product information, including features, pricing, and warranties.
• Build relationships with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Help maintain an attractive and organized sales floor, including setting up displays.
• Stay up-to-date on current product offerings, trends, and promotions.
• Work closely with the delivery team to schedule customer deliveries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in furniture or appliance sales is preferred but not required. Retail sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• The ability to resolve customer inquiries and escalate appropriately when needed.
• Understanding of furniture and/or appliance products and features is an advantage. Willingness to learn and stay informed.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move furniture or appliances when necessary (up to 50 lbs).
• Must have flexible availability, including Saturdays.
