- Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing engaging activities events within a restaurant setting.
- Aim to enhance the dining experience for guests particularly during slower periods, by creating a fun and interactive atmosphere.
- Create themed nights with live entertainment.
- Create special promotions.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinating with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to seamlessly integrate activities into the restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Promote upcoming events through social media, in-restaurant signage, email campaigns, and partnerships with local businesses to attract new customers.
- Interact with guests during activities, encouraging participation, and addressing any concerns to ensure a positive experience.
- Identify and book external entertainment, performers, or guest speakers for special events.
- Manage activity expenses within allocated budget, including entertainment fees, supplies, and promotional materials.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations during events, including proper setup of activity areas and managing crowd control.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage guests and build rapport.
- Creative thinking and ability to develop unique and engaging activities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Marketing and promotional experience to effectively reach target audience.
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Event planning experience is preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience as a coordinator for restaurant operations.
- At least a High School diploma.
