What You’ll Do:
- Cleaning and maintenance: Perform heavy cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming floors, washing walls, and removing trash to maintain cleanliness and order.
- Restroom upkeep: Service and restock restrooms, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and fully supplied.
- Breakroom care: Clean and maintain breakroom areas, including furniture and equipment, for a sanitary and welcoming environment.
- Safe chemical handling: Use cleaning chemicals and power equipment safely, following specified procedures to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
- Solution preparation: Accurately mix cleaning solutions according to specifications for effective and safe cleaning.
- Glass and surface cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, glass partitions, and other surfaces with appropriate agents and tools for streak-free results.
- Maintenance reporting: Notify supervisors of any repair or maintenance needs within building systems.
- Supply management: Requisition of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Floor care: Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as directed to maintain floor quality and appearance.
- Safety compliance: Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies by wearing required PPE and following all procedures.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Mechanical aptitude: Basic ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communication skills: Effective communicator, able to interact professionally with managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Literacy and documentation: Ability to read and understand instructions in English and complete basic written reports or logs.
- Physical capability: Able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy items, and stand for the entire shift in various environments.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, dependable in adhering to work schedules and policies.
- Safety and teamwork: Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
Your Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
