Responsibilities:
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing situations, and strategizing proper courses of action.
- Manage division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when necessary.
- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are up-to-date.
- Effectively represent clients at court hearings as needed.
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to efficiently move files through the civil litigation process.
What You'll Do:
- Represent clients in all aspects of family law litigation and mediation, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, prenuptial agreements, and post-divorce modifications.
- Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, agreements, and trial documents.
- Manage high-conflict cases, including those involving domestic violence, child abuse, and contested custody disputes.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.
- Guide clients through the legal process with clarity, empathy, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with our team to develop case strategies, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional client service.
