- Payment Processing: Prepares and distributes paychecks or direct deposits, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Record Keeping: Maintains accurate and organized records of employee payroll information, including timesheets, pay stubs, and tax forms.
- Reporting: Generates payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations related to payroll.
- Employee Inquiries: Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Receives, verifies, and processes invoices from vendors.
- Payment Processing: Prepares and processes payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Record Keeping: Maintains accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor information.
- Reconciliation: Reconciles accounts payable statements with vendor statements.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigates and resolves invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Vendor Communication: Responds to vendor inquiries and provides information as needed.
Onboarding Employees:
- Draft offer letter and administer new hire paperwork for new employees
- Send new hire paperwork to payroll processing company for new employee set up
- Send new hire paperwork to benefits company
- Send new employee the onboarding benefits package and handbook
