Description
Manage and maintain PowerSchool to include :
Setting up new year
Setting up online course registration
Closing out school year
Provide support to schools in best practices and trouble-shooting
Monitor data for accuracy and errors-correct as necessary
Maintain PowerSchool Enrollment and PowerTeacher Gradebook Pro
Maintain SIF / SLF service
Responsible for :
Working with various departments in accurate submission of state and federal reports
Working with Coordinator of Data Management
Working with Coordinator of Assessment
Data uploads for online software subscriptions
Maintaining connection between PowerSchool and third-party vendors : Performance Matters, Major Clarity, Canvas, Clever, Data Business (cafeteria management), Transfinder, Level Data, PSCB Development Reports Maintaining relationship with PSISJS
Staying up to date on best practices including online and face-to-face professional development
VA PowerSchool Users Group
PowerSchool Community
Other qualities :
Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to plan and lead professional development as appropriate
Experience in PowerSchool Administration preferred
Excel certification preferred
Willingness to learn SQL and how to complete queries
