Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly Federal/State income tax provisions using OTP
Prepare Federal/State proforma tax returns for domestic filing group
Prepare Federal, State, & International information requests
Assist in the preparation of state income/franchise tax returns for domestic LLC
Assist in preparation of state workpapers and analysis supporting the filed tax return
Support preparation of forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8992, 8993
Support preparation of BEAT, GILTI, & Section 163(j) analysis and calculations
Assist in the preparation of state apportionment analysis and annual schedules
Calculate and prepare Federal & State estimates and extensions
Assist with Federal, State, & International tax planning projects (as needed)
Review annual Federal/State tax depreciation calculations , tax disposal workpapers, & Forms 4562/4797
Assist in responding to Federal, State, & International audit requests (as needed)
Review and respond to state tax notices (as needed)
Prepare tax account reconciliations
Support preparation of forms 1099
Review PPT returns and related workpapers (as needed)
Support the calculation of income tax expense and the ETR analysis
This role reports to the Director of Tax and currently has no direct reports but offers opportunities to collaborate across departments and influence key tax strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 6 years of recent experience in corporate taxation, either in industry or public accounting.
Proficiency with OneSource tax compliance and OTP software preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of Federal/State tax issues, including provision and compliance.
Knowledge of tax depreciation concepts and software; familiarity with BNA tax research software preferred.
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

This full-time position is based at our Skidaway Island Corporate Headquarters in Savannah, Georgia, with opportunities for flexible working hours, Monday through Friday. Relocation Assistance is available.
