POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Helpdesk Technician is responsible for providing technical support to employees across Marukai’s locations, ensuring the efficient operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The IT Helpdesk Technician will assist in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and the implementation of IT policies and procedures to support business operations.

Essential Functions:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Support POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensure their functionality at retail locations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and maintenance.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for IT-related needs.
- Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies and best practices.
- Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations as assigned by the IT Manager.
- As needed, may travel to a variety of stores and office locations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
