Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and testing refrigeration systems to support new product development initiatives and maintain mature products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build-up, and qualification testing of refrigeration systems
- Prototype cabinet fabrication using Model Shop equipment
- Maintenance of Lab test chambers, computer data acquisition system, and Model Shop equipment
- Calibration of test equipment
- Writing and issuing test report documentation
- Maintenance of regulatory agency documentation records
- Creation and maintenance of product performance listing and labeling
- Participation in agency audits of products and test facilities
- Manufacturing support for product assembly, work instructions, operator training, and on-line safety/performance testing
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have an Associate's degree in HVAC and at least 5 years of experience in design, build-up, and test of household refrigeration systems.
